Guidance, Perspective, and Support for Developing and Established Clinicians
Learn about my supervision and consultation services for mental health professionals
Clinical supervision
Clinical supervision for unlicensed mental health professionals provides the structure, guidance, and support needed to build competence, confidence, and ethical practice during this critical stage of training. I offer supervision that is collaborative, developmentally informed, and grounded in evidence-based care, with an emphasis on case conceptualization, treatment planning, risk management, and professional identity development. Supervision also creates space to process the emotional impact of clinical work, strengthen self-awareness, and develop sound clinical judgment. My goal is to support supervisees in growing into thoughtful, effective clinicians while meeting licensure requirements and providing high-quality care to the clients they serve.
Professional consultation
Clinical consultation provides psychologists and other mental health professionals with expert guidance, perspective, and support as they navigate complex clinical, ethical, or professional challenges. I offer consultation grounded in evidence-based practice, developmental understanding, and real-world clinical experience, helping consultees strengthen case conceptualization, refine treatment strategies, and approach difficult situations with greater clarity and confidence. Consultation is collaborative, thoughtful, and tailored to your specific needs—whether you’re seeking input on challenging cases, navigating ethical questions, or looking to grow your clinical skills and professional effectiveness. The goal is to support high-quality care, reduce professional isolation, and help you feel more confident and grounded in your clinical decision-making.
My philosophy
My clinical supervision is grounded in a developmental model that recognizes clinicians grow and change over time as their skills, confidence, and professional identity evolve. This approach tailors supervision to the supervisee’s current level of training and experience, providing more structure, guidance, and skill-building early on, and gradually shifting toward increased autonomy, collaboration, and refinement of clinical judgment. Supervision focuses on strengthening case conceptualization, ethical decision-making, therapeutic presence, and self-reflection, while also attending to the emotional demands of clinical work. The goal is to support supervisees in developing competence, confidence, and integrity as mental health professionals, so they can provide effective, ethical, and compassionate care to their clients.
